V1.4=
The first thing you see when you log in to eZ Platform is the Dashboard.=
The Dashboard lists the Content items that are most relevant to your wor= k. You can use it to quickly view and start editing the most important cont= ent.
The Dashboard displays three kinds of Content items, divided into blocks= :
V1.7 EZ ENTERPRISE All Drafts Scheduled for Futur= e Publication.
V1.7 EZ ENTERPRISE My Drafts Scheduled for Future= Publication.
Wherever you are in the application, you can always return to the Dashbo= ard by clicking the eZ logo in the top left corner of the screen.
eZ offers three different work modes: Content mode,
Each of these modes fulfills different needs of the users:
The focus of Conten= t mode is creating, modifying, organizing and publishing Content items.= Content mode is an interface for the repository, that is the place in whic= h eZ stores all the content.
This mode lets you navigate the Content tree and edit any content presen= t in it, as well as to move, copy and delete it. You can also create new co= ntent using the previously defined Content Types.
You can preview any Content within the tree, but the Content mode does n= ot allow you to edit a Content item directly from this preview.
The Page mode allows f= ront-end editing, which helps you to edit your landing pages while previewi= ng them. This basically means managing the content in the context of the we= bsite.
This mode also gives access to a very specific eZ Enterprise functionali= ty of creating Landing Pages and managing the flow of content going through= them.
