Every Content item on your website has a Content Type. Content Type defi= nes what Fields are present in the Content item so, in consequence, what it= contains and how it looks.

They showcase the capabilities of the system an= d illustrate what you can achieve using Content Types. They can also be use= d to set up a simple website or as a starting point for building your own c= ontent model.
